Why do I need to use a one-time code?

If you don't have an E1 account (or don't want to log in), you can enter a one-time code instead.

It's a secure method to access projects after being invited to quote from a builder.

It ensures that only you can see confidential documents and drawings, or do other commercially sensitive actions such as submitting a quote or seeing quotes you previously submitted.

It's a similar process to other services that require one-time codes when logging in (e.g. MyGov and communications providers).

How do I use a one-time code?

It's a very quick process. After receiving an invitation to tender/quote from a builder:

  1. Click the button or link in the email to access documentation.
  1. In the page that opens, choose to get a one-time code (if you don't want to log in). Don't close this page.
  1. You should receive an email with a one-time code. Copy or remember the code - don't forget to check you Spam or other folders.
  1. Go back to the page and submit the code - that's it!

Once successfully submitted, you don't need to do this again for other invitations for other projects or other builders for 30 days.

Do I have to enter a one-time code every time?

No. As long as you are using the same browser (and you haven't cleared your cookies), being verified by a code lasts 30 days.

Which means you don't need to do this again for other invitations for other projects or other builders for 30 days.

If you are trying to access projects on different computers or devices, they will need to be verified by a code separately.

I can't find my code, I need help

We recommend checking your Spam and other folders first. If you're unable to locate the code or having trouble accessing documents, you can reach out to our Support team for assistance:
